Mount Masami
Masami isn't currently up right now, we've been trying to get things running for a few years, but something always comes up. However, recently, we decided to get the team back together and get this puppy going. Currently, we're adding some new ideas in and reintroducing old ones. We should be up and running within a few weeks. If you're interested, feel free to roam Masami while we get things set up, or maybe you could even join and give us some feedback on what you'd like to see. Thank you so much for your patients and we're very very sorry!

Paragraph count: 5

Marx woke up one day, drowsy, yet comfortable. It was the first time in many years that he did not want to wake up immediately; the bed that Kazuki and Princeton had made him was too comfortable. It had been about a week since Princeton and Kazuki had expanded their little burrow for Marx to fit in. Marx was skeptical at first. He wondered why they would want Marx to be close to them when he was asleep, when Marx is at his most vulnerable state? Marx tossed this idea aside very quickly though. Princeton was much too childish and innocent to seriously want to smother Marx. Besides, Marx had quickly became essential in finding nourishments for Team Hope. Killing him would be a significant blow to their quality of life.

Marx rolled around in the bed for a couple minutes. After stretching his arms, he pulled himself up. Immediately, Marx realized that something was wrong. Marx was waking up peacefully. Normally, Kazuki would be on his bed, chortling in his ear about something random. However, when Marx looked around, Kazuki's area for sleep and Princeton's bed, both were completely empty.

There was another thing that seemed odd. Princeton's bed was neatly made. Princeton never made his bed. Usually, he would shoot up out of his bed early in the morning to go begin some exciting quest, completely putting aside his sense of neatness. Marx didn't mind though, the Masami store was still closed, he wouldn't be able to go on his own adventures until it opened back up again. Marx was perplexed to see why Princeton would suddenly become aware of his own living conditions. It wasn't like Princeton to be so fickle like that.

Marx took out his robes, his boots, and his headband and walked out into the Akiwa Falls to cleanse himself. As he headed out, he was greeted by absolute silence. Nothing, no one. All was lost in a silent void. Nothing moved except for the cool wind. Marx stayed as silent as the forest around him. An unknown force had sent his comrades, no, all life in Masami except for Marx. All was gone, Masami was no longer the life-abundant land it once was. Masami was now, a silent, dark void, devoid of any life(besides plants) to interact with Marx.

Life as Masami knew it had disappeared. A mere shell of what it used to be. So lively, so real. Was all an illusion, what was truth in this world? Marx knew nothing anymore. Darkness surrounded him in the shining sun. He knew nothing. One who knew nothing could understand nothing. Marx didn't understand, where was Kazuki, where was Princeton? Where was his family, his life, his purpose?

Clever, very witty. I think I want to hop on this Roleplay. 'F you don't mind. I also believe you will become Captain of Hope if Zack doesn't reappear.

Alright, cool. So how do you think I should incorporate Princeton's absence in Masami? Should I say that he had returned to Earth somehow? Should I make it so that he left Kazuki's Burrow on some long term journey. Should I just say that he was killed in a fight. Give me some feedback, 'k?

Paragraphs: 9
Marx was quite sore. He felt a stabbing pain in his head, and his back ached. Marx looked around him; the room still contained nobody in it other than himself. Marx sighed and got ready for another day; for about half a year, he had been living only to survive. He would get up, go to the falls to bathe, wash his robe, collect firewood and hunt for the rest of the day. It has been a simple and almost boring life, but it suited Marx. Although he would've preferred some entertainment from other people, it was much better than the Hellhole he once lived in.

Marx looked outside; it was raining. Marx despised the rain. It would take away the little fun that Marx had with life. With rain, it was impossible to hunt efficiently, and bathing during this weather would only risk disease. Marx did not want to get sick in this world; he wasn't sure if the strains of bacteria found in this world would be more or less dangerous than the diseases found on Earth. Marx knew it was unwise to test his luck.

During days of rain, Marx would expand Kazuki's burrow. Marx didn't know why he would do this as nobody ever seemed to come around the base. He supposed it was only necessary to stray away from boredom. His feat amounted to extensive progress. When Marx first came to Hope, Kazuki's Burrow could only accommodate three people. Now it was wide enough for three times that number easy.

Sometimes. Marx would look at Princeton's bed and Kazuki's hole and lament. He continuously wondered where they could've gone, and if they were alive at all. The last memory that Marx had of Princeton was when Princeton stated that he'd be back when he defeated this master. Marx couldn't remember the specific name, but Princeton seemed very confident on defeating this man. After about three days, Kazuki got worried and left to look for Princeton. Neither have ever been seen by Marx again.

Marx looked at his arms. He was surprised how much strength he had obtained throughout the past six months. Before, he had a thinner, yet fit build. He was still fairly thin now, but he now his muscles were more defined. His reflexes have quickened as well. He found it much easier to hunt in the forests than before. His speed had also increased through the time span. Marx never was able to find a proper weapon, so he couldn't get an optimal example of his power, but it didn't really matter.

During times when hunting was impossible, Marx always had salted meats to eat. Marx was able to learn how to make sea salt during the time he was alone. It was a simple, but tedious process of evaporating sea water. Salt would be naturally left behind. Marx was able to make about a pound of sea salt for each day he went to the beach. It was a necessity due to the lack of refrigeration.

In the end, Marx still waited for the day when he could discover other sociable lifeforms in this world. He was very bored with his simple lifestyle and wished to finally obtain a proper weapon. Marx never strayed from familiar territory due to the fact he lacked a proper weapon. Marx had plenty of money, but Princeton never told him where the story was. Marx still lived there, waiting for the day where his adventure could truly begin.

The next day, Marx decided to head out to the beach after finishing his daily affairs. He looked out into the horizon observing the birds flying just above the surface; it almost looked like a dance just from how graceful they looked. The sand felt just as fine and warm as when he had first came to Masami. Marx still remembered his first time on this beach; he remembered the goblin he killed. Marx rationalized long ago that that goblin was probably a young stray. This would explain why he never saw another goblin on the beach again.

Marx sat on the shores for the whole day, just staring out on to the horizon and listening to the moving tides. Several hours later, when the sunset had arrived. Marx stood up. He took in a huge breath and yelled. I'm still here! I, Marx, am still alive! Whoever is out there, give me a sign of life! I repeat, I AM STILL ALIVE!!!
